Close cookie banner

Step fields
seconds (number)
Wait for the cookie consent banner and click «Accept» in it. The parameter is optional: how many seconds to wait for the banner to appear (default 5, max 60). The step does not fail if there is no banner - e.g. it was already closed or the site did not show it: the step report will say «did not appear - skipped». Put it first in the scenario so the banner does not cover buttons or get into screenshots.

Usage example

Wait for the cookie consent banner and click «Accept» in it. The parameter is optional - how many seconds to wait for the banner (default 5, max 60).

The banner is found automatically: well-known consent services (OneTrust, Cookiebot, Tilda, etc.) and any «cookie/consent» block with an «Accept/Agree/Allow» button. If there is no banner, the step is skipped and the test does not fail.

A typical scenario start:

  1. Go to page - https://mysite.com
  2. Close cookie banner - 10
